​​​CTC is a process backed by years of research and science proven to improve the lives of youth in communities.  Our community has been defined as the area contained by the Karns City Area School District. 

 

The planning phase for CTC in KC began in 2015.  We are currently in the implementation phase and a team of volunteers is working diligently to apply the CTC model in a way that improves the lives of youth and benefits our community! The Community Youth Development Study reports youths from CTC communities were 25% to 33% less likely to have health and behavior problems than youths from control communities.
